Looks good. Love the black A pillars. I'm kicking my self in the behind for not grabing them while I was in MA at a Junk yard!

I'm loving the pillars and I can't stop playing with Otis while I drive (not the best of things :eek10: ).

I was unsure of the look of the pillars but once I got them in it was as if they were there the whole time, truely beautiful and a breeze to install (again thanks to TFC for the how-to guide, which saved me on the pillars).

My next step is to tint the display blue or least blue-er and probably monday depending on my mood I'm going to replace the lights for the letters with surface mount led's and make those glow a nice aqua blue.

Saddly the trip display doesn't work, so I guess mines an older than 01 model, but that's not a major thing.....if I really was worried I'd just use the one in the gauges.

The option for the blue tint is (to what I've seen/found) is several;

One idea would be to get the blue window tint film and actualy apply the tint to the display (not easy and kinda risky)
Second way is to take blue mylar (like plastic wrap) that you can get at craft stores and simply lay a sheet over the display {I actualy had a lil baggie that had blue led's in it that was blue that I split open and have in there already but it's not as blue as I hoped}
Third idea would be to find the thinnest sheet of blue tinted plexiglass and cut out a piece to lay over the display

Another extream idea would be to get a see-thru or candy blue spray paint and spray the inside of the plastic cover...... but it again is risky and also can damage the cover.

If anybody has the chance at getting black pillars and has a black dash DO SO, it flows alot better with the interior (makes the doors seals dissapear) and darkens the interior dramaticly....... tho I now need to find black B and C pillar covers to replace mine to get the whole flow going....... be even cooler if I could get the "ohshizzel" handles in black too.... :circle:

well those who were at the chicago meet got to see my perfect blue atc, otis, and even cluster...basically what you want is the blue tint from autozone (the color is electric blue) and basically you want to apply the tint to the glass display (you have to take apart the otis to do this)...and then apply 4 coats if you want the really blue blue...but yea works great.

Lighting Gel. I used it on almost all of my little devices around the 'trep and it turned out beautiful. If you search through some of my old posts I'm sure you'll find it.

I'll be doing it to the GT with the leftovers... eventually. The amber light scheme is killing me. :eek6:
