I have a 2002 intrepid 2.7 when I come to a stop it goes into limp mode amd won't shift. I pull over put into park and restart the car then it runs fine but still does it when I stop any help would be appreciated thanks
maybe it's a lockup converter issue. Possibly not wanting to unlock the converter clutch when you slow down or come to a stop, so instead of stalling the engine, it goes into limp mode. If so, the first place to look would be the lockup solenoid or transfer wiring harness.
