As most of you know, I gave up my Trep a while back to my son because he gave his car to my daughter after she totalled hers. I've since bought a Chevy Lumina and as I suspected the baby girl is not happy with the Escort she got from her brother. Don't take it wrong, she appreciates the freebies but she just knows she doesnt want to keep that car long term. So she is trying to get her money together to buy the Lummie from me. She likes the silver color and really likes the car since I put the dual exhausts on it! (thats MY daughter:D )...So after I did my Valentines shopping the other night I stopped in the Dodge dealer out in Midlothian and was lookin around the used car lot. This silver and black 2000 Sebring caught my eye. I never have driven one of these cars and was curious about their interior comfort. ( at 6'3" this often times an issue) I guess I must be having my empty-nest-mid-life-crisis because I seem to have a strong urge for a convertible of late. I would love a Firebird ragtop but they seem to be in short supply and expensive! I was pleasantly surprised at the comfort of the Sebring and even more surprised at its performance (that AutoStick is so much fun!) I realize that ASOG or Stratusphere would prolly be a major source of info on these cars, but on the off chance that anyone here has owned one I was hoping for some feedback. Maybe not just this car but on ragtops in general (Am I opening a can of worms?) too bad there's no Magnum Roadster in the works!
