I am probably going to change the plugs on my corde this weekend. Even though I only have like 52,300 miles on the car it's a 98 so I figured it couldn't hurt. I noticed that on the far driver's side plug there are cables and vaccum hoses that obstruct the way. My question is which of these are neccessary to remove before procceding? thx . :icon16:

Edit: Also, would turning the plug by hand at first to seat it/using antiseize prevent cross threading? Haynes reccommends using a rubber hose to seat the plug.

i dont know about the 2.7 but i always hand tighten it then torque it down a little with the ratchet. as for the hoses. i have no clue just pull the rubber hose off and then try to get to it. i dont think theres anything you would need to unbolt to get to the plug. the 3.3 i have to take the air box passage apart to get to the plugs.
