I was having a thought... A lot of people have headlight blackouts. But (in my opinion), a uni-color car looks better. So has anyone thought of buying %35 mirror tint and putting that on the headlights? I think that might be a cool look, but I could be horribly, horribly wrong. Anyway, it would probably block less light than the black covers do... Just a thought...

I don't think that the blackouts block much light in the first place. I didn't notice much of a difference. Do yours?

I think those blackouts look totally awesome on the black cars!!!

When I put them on my car, I was going for a 2 tone look. I wanted pretty much everything that was not platinum to be black. So I tinted my windows and got the headlight covers. The only thing I haven't done yet is blackout the tail lights.

Mine headlight blackouts aren't all that dark, but i ALWAYS take them off at night when if i leave town. If i stay in town there is enough light from my foglights and the streetlights for me to see.

As for the blackouts on an inferno red car, it might look ok, but i dont know. There's another Intrepid in town thats kinda a darker red, almost maroon that i dont really like w/ them on. But that also might be because it looks really weird w/ the foglights. Mine is dark green, and it looked pretty good w/ them on, but since then i've got a full bra and I think it looks sweet. Hopefully will get pics this weekend.

Mine block a pretty good amount of light. When I have them off, most people think I have my brights on. I'm looking into some driving lights, but mounting them will be a pain. Of course, the sensible thing to do would be to remove the blackouts, but...

I was gonna get some blackouts for mine a while ago before they even made them for the 98 and up models. They do look really sweet on black. I realized that when I played with my car in photoshop a really long time ago, but I'm to lazy to take them off for night driving every day.
