Actually, I had to wake up theis morning at 5am to be downtown by 7am (normally a 30 minute drive). Well, the roads were pretty bad, and so was traffic. I must have passed at least 10 accidents and there were plenty of cars in the ditches. Not to mention the expressway was moving very very slow. Took me about 1 and a half hours to get downtown.

Anyways, then I had to go back to my office in the suburbs (right near my house) and go back downtown again. This trip was much quicker 30-40 minutes both ways, because the roads were preety much clear by then.

When I was downtown, I had to go to the sears tower and another building across from it. You gotta watch out when walking around downtown after snow, because all the ice that is on the top of the tall buildings gets blown off and falls to the sidewalk (imagine a chunk falling from the top of the sears tower....). Luckily, I didn't get hit :)

That was my fun day so far. I just got home from my second trip :)

Man, that would suck to get your ass knocked out while you are just walking around. :p

Luckily we only got about 3" here. :)

I went up the Sears Tower when I was out there. That was pretty cool looking out. If you look out east toward Lake Michigan... you see all these lights at the bottom from the smaller buildings. Once you hit the shore... its pitch BLACK. Its like there is a big black wall at the end of the city. Pretty cool if u ask me.

HeHe, good thing I'm in Cleveland! No snow what-so-ever! Who woulda thought it could be such a difference only a couple hundred miles away. We have had lots of dense fog though, tough to drive in.

Just today we only hit 38-40 degrees, but less than a two hour drive it was in the mid to upper 60's in Columbus and Pittsburgh!

What is wrong with winter here? Where's all that great lake effect snow we get every winter? Not so much that I mind a warm winter, I just don't want a major storm coming in April. If it's gonna be cold and snow, let it happen now. Seems a bit scary seeing as how we have only gotten 11" officially this whole winter....what the future holds, I am clueless now...
