So I've started working on the Trep. Had to start with the small stuff till I figured out where I wanted to go with it. So I removed all the decals but the one from the hood. Just wanted to see if you guys knew if I removed it if it would be a hassled or if it was just like the letters I removed off the back.
Went down to a shop I've been talking to for awhile now about the Trep and ordered a Sweet Looking Spoiler for it. No where near what normal Treps have and I saw a demo unit of it placed on my Trep.....once its done I'll have to get a pic up. Looking into the dual exhaust part but everyone I have contacted said its illegal....so I may wait on that for now. Also anyone have any idea if its possible to put a Ram Air unit on the Trep? With a Nice Hood mod it would do well i think. Later

First, the hood decal was easier than the letters on the back.

Second, why would dual exhaust be illegal? As long as you don't remove the cats, you should be OK.

ForceOne, ask for the "Cat-back Dual exhaust" for a 300m. These are legal, and as long as you don't change any of the emmisions devices (egr,pcv,cat) you can make any changes you desire. As far as I know this is true even in Colorado. But don't forget, if you open up the exhaust with a dual cat-back system, you will lose some low-end torque. Make sure you are putting enough air into the engine to make a high flow exhaust worthwhile. I do have some ideas for a "Ram Air" system, but until I actually measure I would hesitate to post (please don't flame me!!!). E-mail me and I'll give you my ideas. Plus if you live close to me, maybe we can work out something together. By the way, what type of spoiler did you get (from who or what car)?

Actually I am in the Springs but I have to hit Denver this weekend. I'll be up there till sometime monday. Its a Custom Spoiler from a Company called Auto Trim Design. Also gonna work with him to get some Lettered Decals for my Trep. Not sure what exactly yet but I'm so bored with the whole "Powered by (insert Make here)" thing that I want something different. And putting asian writing on it just seems wrong since its a not a RICER. So i'll figure something out. I'll look into that whole "Cat" system and see what I can find out. I don't know much but the simpler physics of "Ram Air" so I'm not sure how much help I would be but I'm always willing to help. Thanks for the info guys and have a good one.
