I posted here because it gets the most hits. this is a question to all.

i have aol which sucks but im stuck with it. and i want to know is there a way i can get rid of all that damn porno spam. Where is it comming from. I heard that if you visit a porno site that they nab youre email adress and youre pertty much screwed from there.

Any help would be appriciated

I haven't visited a porno site in a long, long time and I still get porno spam (damn, that brings a great mental image I wish I didn't have). I have MSN though (for now).

Use a different browser to look at your porn.

Make another AOL screenname and use that for your 'real' mail. Sign on with your current 'infected with porno spame' screenname for your porn.

And past that, there really is NO way to get rid of it. If you reply to tell them to remove you, all you did was verify that you actually READ that email. So it will keep coming.

Get another ISP. Aol is the worst for spam. They sell their customer lists.
