Thanks again Intrepid 99 for taking photos of my car . For your info we are getting 10" ****ing inches of snow to day and a winter storm warnings until 12.00pm Tuesday. The car looks like a big red dirty snow ball now :(

Definately, thanks for comin' to this one. Sorry to hear you had crummy traffik (yes I spell it special like that :)) on the way home.

I really enjoyed those pictures you had, plus that Mopar Action article with the Racing Stripe Intrepid. That was pretty cool.

As for a meet that pimpd can go to, I told ya, Dubuque next Spring, man. That's about 3 hours from me, but I think something by the river would be cool. Maybe at their Ice Harbor.

Spook, how often do you use the AutoStick? I've heard mixed opinions about it's usefulness.

likes-
-use it mostly on the highway so I dont have to use brakes
-use it in corners to hold gears
-use it to granny shift when I'm low on $$
-love racing POS cars from stoplight, holding them off with about 1/2 throttle up to 3500 rpm and them mattign it and pulling away

dislikes-
-would like steering wheel shifters

I will use the autostick to slow down but never past 2nd gear, I always let the transmission shift into first

I have tried using 2nd and 3rd gear starts in the rain, works good in combination with the traction control to get you moving

also I like the nice firm shift I have due to tranny antifoam additive

SNOW sucks big time. Have a foot on the ground and still snowing hard, some parts of Minn have over 27' inches on the ground and still snowing. :( 00 ChryslerIntrepid i use it a lot on a day like to day. I start out in 2nd or 3rd gear to get going. Works really nice from a dead stop. As for racing i do better in drive and flooring it. In was always .1 to .2 of second slower using the Auto stick. Maybe its just my driving but i have talked to other guys at the drag strip, who said the same thing about their cars. Thanks ATF i had a great time and plan to go to other meets next year. Dam just looked at radar weather looks we are going to get alot more snow. Time to go back outside and start moving snow around again.
