Not sure if he will have access to the net, but last night, my buddy decided on an '01 SE. 19k on it, goldish in color, not sure the true color name, interior dark grey, very nice, and clean. In great shape. He is in love with it already.

I am happy to say I was the deciding factor in his decision as he was looking at getting a Ford Escape at first, then after our drive to Detropit in my ride, he was easily swayed to go with the Trep. There is not much bad that can be said of this car, good power, excellent styling, infinite intertior and trunk space, rides and handles very comfortably.

Now, I need to find a nice big open road to race with him :D See how my '98 ES with 74k on it stacks up against an '01 SE with under 20k on it! May take a little persuation as he does not seem ready to beat on his new baby just yet ;)

So, I have to give myself props for spreadin' the love  Peace all!

It's great when people you know purchase their car because they like yours. I know at least two people that work in my college who purchased their Intrepids after they saw mine in the parking lot and asked me questions. I have had lots of compliments on how how sharp the car looks. Wish I could take credit for that, all I can tell them is I just bought it, did not make it. Unlike Otto...

BTW, I dunno about the rest of the country, but their are a TON of Intrepids running around down here. I seem to be the only R/T on the road though...

There are also TONS of Intrepids running around the Detroit area. I have seen only a couple other R/Ts.

I've seen a lot lately as well...however...it seems that 98% of them are SE's. 1.9% are ES's; and like .1% are R/T's (very rarely do I see an R/T around here).

Ive been seeing more R/Ts recently.. but still over 90% of the treps I see are either ES or SE models. Ive seen some new ones floating around. Of course you can't miss them with all that badging on the back. Haven't seen an 02 R/T yet. Definitely can't miss those chrome wheels.

There are loads of Intrepids around this area too. I've only seen one R/T however. Second generation ES's aren't very common either. Mostly SE's and first gens.

The gold color for the Chrysler LH cars was called Champagne. I am not sure if it is the same for the Dodge line, since they sometimes use different colors.

Oh, here is is...
Champagne Pearl Clear Coat :)

Wow, I must say, I am a poor typer. Not even realizing this until now, where exactly is 'Detropit'? I think I meant Detroit! :D

Whats with the infinite 'intertior' space? Interior maybe!

Whew, I need to slow down, too many thoughts in my head, fingers not able to keep up! :p

Thanks on the Champagne color, that sounds familiar, I believe thats what it is.
