Ok folks,
scratching my head. HELP please..
Manual says 3-lead Crank Position Sensor on my 1999 3.2 with A/T Intrepid should be 5.0 volts. I test per service manual (not the FSM, don't have one) and I get 9.02 volts.
Runs GREAT but when it stalls, usually after warming up; I get no codes, no crank. After awhile - no time limit noticed, just random it will start and run as if there is no problem.
SOOOOOO...
before I condemn the PCM, which voltage is called for? 5.0 or 9.0 volts on the power to the crank sensor?
