OK guys suspense is over like there ever was any. :baller: Last nite after a few days of bickering I picked up a Black '01 Motorsports Edition R/T. Paid $500.00 for it the motor is toast but everything else is in great condition. I already have a 3.5 HO to go in it sitting in the garage just needs a few touch ups before I put it in. More pics to come had to get it off the dolly and get to work.

Thanks guys! Dan you will get to see it shortly in person! I think the only mods I'm gonna do for now is put in the slate heated/memory seats I JUST put in my SE along with the WHOLE body harness lol. Add ATC as I have an extra '01 ATC harness 2 atc heads and like 4 blower resistors lol. And the 6 disc cd changer. Leave it "Stock" for the most part maybe if I can find a nice slate 300m dash I will consider changing it out.

Well she's a running now. Finished the motor transplant yesterday. I had a few hiccups but nothing major. Once the motor was in and hooked up and running I had a minor oil leak.

After cussing and throwing a fit about it I looked for the leak. Turns out it was coming from the pressure line to the oil cooler where the line comes out of the sensor adapter and curves to meet the oil line. It was a hair line crack but obviously big enough to leak. After a trip to the local yard she's all fixed now.

Some pics of the transplant below.

Motor ready to be pulled.

Motor up and out

Motor out.
And a lesson learnt during the 2.7/35 swap tie up the exhaust on driver side or get a ripped up cv boot.

Now some pictures of her out back at work.

Thanks guys. But after talking with Dan<Daytrepper> and Doug<Duds> I may keep it stock for Carlisle next year. I am waiting on the class info/rules before I make any mods that may affect the class. Shooting for the "All Original" class, if that is the name of it.

Ya I might if it doesn't affect Carlisle I may even do the chrome handles/switches in all the doors as well. I'm not sure what I can and can't do until I hear back from Val at Carlisle. Np glad ya got what ya needed for the M. I saw 2 RB1's on E bay that had dvd's and the antenna for 300$ but I got bills to take care of so... it will have to wait. I could do the RB1 and if it affects Carlisle just take it out and put the stocker back in lol after all it's just a matter of 4 screws lol. But until I hear back not gonna do much to her.

Just finished removing the Sirius radio set-up. Man what a PITA. I had to tear apart the whole dash practically. Also had to pull the door trim out of both doors on driver side. Now just got to get the double-sided tape off the trunk and clean up the area where the antenna was it's covered in dirt.

Pictures below

Pic of the system the steel colored box was forced in behind the radio and was a ***** to get out. The black box was mounted in the trunk under the rear deck. Wiring was run up the driver's side.

Also need to get a new trunk lid harness from the yard b/c they focked up the one in the car
