Has anyone found a way to shove a 100+ amp alternator into their car? I am lookin for a little more juice, as nightime driving is really stressing my current one. I roll my power windows up and I an see headlighs dim, and hear my blower motor for the A/C slow down quite substansially.

Any respectable mobile audio shop will be able to get an alternator that would fit perfectly for you. The only problem is that it will be a little pricey.

If the only problem you are having is when you roll your windows up, don't worry about it. I have the same problem. Although when I open/close my moonroof, I don't have that problem. So, don't worry about it, unless you plan on continuously opening/closing your windows every other second.

That's weird, I don't have that problem with my lights dimming. Could that be battery related?

JUST got one of those 1000 cranking amp/ 900 cold cranking amp batteries from the store... Going to school in Eau Claire and the last car I had had trouble starting.. so I got the new battery 2 mo. ago. that car died.. got the 'trep... and moved the large battery over. I am also concerned... my stereo amps sometimes complain about not enough current when the windows go... (they cut out... stupid mofset) oh well. looks like I have to live with it until I save some cash
