You started a thread about that?

I guess it shouldn't surprise me really.

So if some people get shitty, why didn't you ask before taking it?

A lot of people "if their website is worth the hassle" go as far as considering copyright laws. I know I looked into them after my website got 50k+ a day, and I noticed my bandwidth was being shared elsewhere.

My web site "was" a E/N website which had thousands of pictures of porn, pirated software, whacked out videos (faces of death), litterally 2500+ pages of crazy crap.

I ran my website for about 5 years, and for legal reasons I took it down. I plan on bringing it back of course, but all legal, and legit.

Well as you can see, I am a free man. So evidently there were bigger fish to catch. After a couple of phone calls, and finally catching up with me, I shut it all down. Only due to the fact they traced much worse back to me. All said, and done. I plan on bringing the website back of course, just legal.

At any rate! Before this turns into a junk thread.

There is a couple of programs people should look into if they are "that" worked up on people actually right clicking, and saving their images. I remember there was one in particular which would call the imaged via java script, and make it so someone couldn't access the file name, nor the file. Let me dig it up.....

ImageGuard 1.2

But you must know, this will not %100 protect you. As with anything online, you always have alternative ways of getting what you want.

Well as far as HTML aspect goes, there are some ways. I used to do everything (with out getting into too much info) with encryptions. Hell for a couple of years I encrypted all of my work. But I will tell you reading Crypto is very easy as well, kind of like HTML once you start learning you don't stop.

As a matter of fact, a very simple tool I made about 8 years ago is now posted on Dynamic Drive. In a sense it's a rip off what I made, but this is a little more user friendly seeings the person had a couple years to perfect it, and I gave up on the idea. Check it out here...

http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex9/encrypter.htm

Very simple script, very simple crypto.
