Hey everyone. I wanted to know what changes would I need to make to my 3.3 if I were to buy a 3.5. I know i would need to change the pcm, but what else? Is it also possible to buy one of the newer magnums that come in the 2nd gen RTs? Or dare I, a magnum v8? Maybe im off my rocker! ROCKER!!! get it?.........Im a loser

Well there's now way a magnum v8 is going to fit. unless you made the car rear engine but no one could do that.

i'll bet you could get a 4.7 V8 in there if you made it RWD.

I betcha ya could get it in there as FWD, just gotta do something creative with the radiator...

I have heard of a 318 RWD converted intrepid before, but never seen one in real life. considering the car was desgined to be either RWD or FWD, someone with a Trep, a wrecked Dakota and welding equipment should get crackin'

Actually a Magnum V8 will fit in an Intrepid. Actually I have a 98 360 waiting in my garage to be put into my LHS. All I have to do now is get the trans and a rear and I am all set. I probably won't be doing this for a while but I have to gather everything so when I'm ready to do it I don't have to go hunting for everything. I can't wait to pull up to the water box at the drag strip and throw a big fat burnout.
