does anyone know where i can tap into the tach signal for my autostart?

Why? They didn't touch the tach when they installed my auto starter.

Just curious why they would need to do that, thats all...

from my understanding they have to splice into the tach feeder so the computer knows when to stop cranking (like when the engine fires and the tach comes alive).

mine sure doesn't start on the first turn, especially when it's butt-ass cold.

it can use various ways to determine a start, voltage flucuation, vacum, and tach, i like the tack idea the best but dunno where to go and find it, lol :mad:

Try grabbing a Haynes manual and it might have it in the electrical schematics section. I love my Haynes book!!! But a Chilton book might be better, because that book has EVERYTHING. But its a little harder to understand for do-it-yourselfers.
