Ok,

for those of you like me that wish we had such great books like Intrepidatious had during the OTIS wiring search (example) The following link is to a website that seems to carry such books. link

Intrepidatious's wiring book was named LH Body Electrical Technician Workbook

We beleive this to be the same book as LH/JR BODY ELECTRICAL - INSTRUCTOR-LED TRAINING - STUDENT WORKBOOK .....$ 9.95

I have not ordered one of these yet but maybe someone here can vouch for it being the same book.

Ok,

Got both books today. Was sort of disapointed with the LH/JR Body Electrical Student Workbook. Only had a few good diagrams of things around the car. But my second book, 1998-1999 Chrysler Concorde/300m/LHS/Dodge Intrepid - Body Diagnostic Procedures kicks total ass! And at only $22 is was more than worth it! This book covers all the electrical works of all the listed cars. It covers all the connectors, wire colors, differences between models and options changes. Such as the differences in the radios. Wattage, speakers etc. It is setup in a sectional type layout so each group, such as Audo System is the first chapter. It goes over possilbe issues and how to troubleshoot them via a flow chart. This book is 840 pages! Liked it so much, I decided to order the service manual. It runs $90 but is suppose to cover the entire car, not just the electronics.

Let you know how it is when I get it.

Got the main book today. Great book but a little expensive. Alot of detailed drawings and pictures make repairs look pretty easy. One thing I found interesting was the fact that the Haynes manual took alot of diagrams and info straight out of the book. Got to love cut and paste.

The Dodge manual goes into a great detail including transmission rebuilding which I thought was nice.

Cool,

Got the $90 Service manual today and I do give it an A+ rating. This book is about 800 pages just dealing with only 1998 Concorde & Intrepid. I have already been pulling the facts out of the book about the electronics, especially the stereo units. Both are great books to add to your collection if you are a serious tinker with your car or like doing mods like the OTIS.
