There has been much talk about how the air temp effects the HP, I didnt really believe it at first but today I am inclined to.

Its been the first cold day today for ages, actually wore my coat (Gotta love MI)... Anyway, I have the cone filter on my car and felt it more responsive and perky than usual, I can only put it down to the air temp, with this in mind I am going to make a baffle for the filter so no air from the engine can get to it, I really do think its worth my while..

You guys think so?

Si I did it to my 2000 R/T. 1 1/2 inch fiberglass board for air ducts. I blocked it off from the engine bay. It was cold here to in Minn 32 deg this morning. The car has felt stronger in the mornings with the colder weather.

SPOOK R/T, isnt it weird? I wish there was a cheap but effective way we could just force 40 degree temped air.... Cheers for the info, I have seen MedicMan do it to, I`ll give it a bash this weekend I think.

Thrasher, 78 degress!!! You wussy, us men have the cold NOW!!! :)

**** I love it up here in Canada, cold weather is not all that bad. I love snow covered streets, if you find yourself going the wrong way, just give the parking brake a tap and you swing the car around the way you want it! :D

run a pipe from the vents to the intake and leave the a/c running full blast all the time. it might get hot in the summer but, hey, it's a unique cold air induction system.

Your gain in HP from cold air would be lost, because you loose HP from running your A/C.

Well I guess I'm out of luck!!!!! Here on Guam it is always hot, even Hawaii has some sorta cool nights. It's 90-ish every single day and plummets down to about 80 at night. We really have only one season when it comes to temperature, and only 2 if you count dry season and rainy season.
