I was at the yard today looking for parts for my new (to me) trep. In fact it was the first place I stopped after signing the title. But anyways I found about six 2nd gens and about two dozen first gens; which I did a quick look on every one. Most had about 150k miles, one even had 249k which on top of that it was an ugly blue interior with a sunroof ( a daring combo?). The prettiest one there was a dark purple LHS with a light gray, almost white leather interior. It would have been a good car to hold onto had it been taken care of. But even though they had seen the end of there road, I couldn't feel bad because after all they all lived a good life. That was until I came across this 1997 Intrepid in the last row. The motor and tranny were missing, the roof was crushed to the headrests, there was not a straight piece of panel on the car. The mileage? THIRTY ONE THOUSAND... poor trep.
