i like the knife in the first pic thats as big as the death machine.... what are you doing in your spare time serial killings?

edit: and the trep glaring in threw the door :sneaky2:

Used something similar when putting in the laminate floors...to cut the bottoms of the trim to allow for the higher floor height...quite dangerous...only difference it had a little guide on the bottom for the cutting depth...could easily get away from you.

That thing does look scary, why can't you use a skill saw, jig saw or sawsall? Also, it looks like you have the disk on there the wrong way since the "top" marking is on the bottom.

With a skill saw you cant get close enough to the wall and a jig saw is no use at all however a sawzall will work with the rite blade but still requires allot trimming to square it up before the new plywood is laid.

The blade only goes on one way but you can turn the chain around if you need to.
