ive been thinking for a while now on making flames come out my exhaust. but not sure if it would look cool or if id look like a jackass.i have the stuff and the nohow and the way to do it, but i need opinions on if it would look stupid or not?

Damn bro youre going to look dumb. NO im just kidding damn youre the guy ive been looking for all this time. I been thinking doing this to my car long time ago and i made a topic on it but no one found out any information. Can you please tell me how youre going to do this and how much money .

But yeah go ahead and do this would be awsome ass hell. :rolleyes:

man i think it would look real good if u have on flamers. but are they legal or illegal? I would love to do this to my fathers truck (98'Dodge Ram) i bet he would love it. also can u explain how are you going to do this and how much it would cost? would love to see it in my trep. :D

I used to know a guy who did this. He accomplished it by putting spark plugs towards the end of the exhaust pipe with a control inside and by adjusting the choke. I'm assuming you'd have to remove the cat converters and mufflers for this to work. Personally I don't think its a good idea.

Well, i think i would be cool. I also think it will be a little more diffucult on an EFI engine. Can't exactly pull the choke on these. Your best bet would be to use propane instead of gas. It'll go farther and is alot cheaper. That's what people are using these days. Pretty much all it is is a bbq grill with an electronic controller bolted to your pipes.

ok heers the query if i put a cutoff before the last cat would that get enough fumes to spark? thats the only thing my team is stuck on , if enuf for flame or not?

also if i change to amanual choke and control it from inside would this aid it or not?

One thing to consider. Your rear bumper cover is plastic. Most of the modern cars ive seen this done on usualy replace the bumper with fiberglass. The stock one might not stand up to the heat from flames.

But the way it was done was by putting a spark plug on the tailpipe, and manualy choking the engine a bit. The unburned fuel vapor shot out the rear and was ignited by the spark plug..
