These are the speakers I want and the specs. They will all fit in the stock position, are quality and are all form Infinity, I want to stick with one brand and Infinity seems top notch with speakers. Drop your dash speakers, just run 4. That's what I'd personally do.

But if you really want to run 6, I believe this is the model number 'REF-5761A' on Infinities 6 channel amp. Run the 4 in the front of of the 50 watt channels, and then the 6*9s off the 100 watt channels.

why not run them all off a 4 channel amp, i used to run mine like that when i had my first gen, just hooked the amp to the speakers, and the dash ones just ran off of the front channel, so it was no bid deal...

yea, they should be able to handle double the power, at least the specs you posted say so. I don't really know much about Infinity amps though, so someone else might be able to find another amp for ya if you don't wanna go the 6 channel route.

I guess, my questions are:
Should I put equal power into each speaker, or double in the 6x9's (if possible?).

This is the amp I am looking at. Will it work well?

Infinity Reference 7541a
» 4-channel car amplifier
» 111 watts RMS x 4 at 4 ohms (139 watts x 4 at 2 ohms)
» 278 watts RMS x 2 bridged output at 4 ohms (4-ohm stable in bridged mode)
» front and rear variable high-/low-pass filters (32-320 Hz, 12 dB/octave)
» variable bass boost (0-12 dB at 50 Hz)
» MOSFET power supplies
» CEA-2006 compliant
» Tri-way capable (Tri-Way Crossover required)
» preamp- and speaker-level inputs
» preamp outputs
» 8-gauge power and ground leads with a 60A fuse recommended
» fuse rating: 30A x 2
» 16-3/8"W x 2-11/16"H x 12-1/8"D
» warranty: 1 year
