Well, sorry I haven't posted in a couple days..I took a trip up to Niagara Falls from Long Island in the 'Trep.

Great trip...beautiful sites, and the ride was great. Saw ALOT of Chrysler Intrepids!! The Intrepid seems very popular up there! I stayed in Jordan, Ontario with a room overlooking the water with a nice view of Toronto when the skies were clear. Wish I could've went to the plant and taken a couple pictures with the car..oh well...another time.

No-one told me July 1st was Canada Day :)...so I got see the fireworks show over the falls. Pretty cool. Anyone who hasn't been to Niagara Falls, you ought to go, it's a good time and there's enough stuff to do to fill a weekend. Take the car! :)

Glad to hear that you enjoyed your trip in Canada. The Niagara region is a great vacation spot. I am 4 hours from Toronto and another 1.5 hours to Niagara Falls.
From what I understand, Chrysler sells more cars in Canada than Ford but more Fords are sold in the USA than Chrysler. Come on you guys. Talk to your neighbours and friends. That Ford line is BORING and who the hell wants to drive a Taurus or even a Focus. And those Explorers...those tipovers.
Anyhow, I will be posting pics of my Canadian Chrysler Intrepid RT for you Americans who haven't been fortunate to see one. I am just waiting for Randy to set up my pics on a site.
Next time, head up to Ottawa/Montreal/Quebec City for another memorable trip. Not that far from where you are....

Those customs people have to be the "missing link"...where do you get them? Absolutely no personality! :)

Thanks, I'd like to go back again soon...Canada seems awesome, very beautiful scenery. Any other interesting spots that aren't too far from NY?

I drove up to Montreal from Montreal in my R/T in April. Its a nice easy trip, and I loved Montreal. If you leave on a Thursday and come back Sunday, it is enough time to enjoy yourself. It took me about 6.5 hours each way. I got a ticket coming back in North Hudson NY , so watch out. It is just south of Plattsburg, right where you start going through the mountains again. They cops were pulling over everyone going over 65. Their was a speed trap around a big turn, coming down a mountain. I guess they need some extra cash in North Hudson

It was so great, I went into one of your local stores and bough a soda and a candy bar. I handed them an American $20 bill.

I got like $24 in change in Canadian money. Friggin ruled, you guys paid me to buy a candy bar and a soda (actually, not really after I exchanged the cash, but let me live in my little fantasy world!! :) )

I just got back from a trip to Northern Maine..

The Eagle was like an exotic to everyone up there :) there weren't any Eagle dealers for miles so it WAS kind of unique.

Saw a buttload of Chrysler Intrepids as well, it seems a local dealer got his hand on some off-lease Canadian intrepids and was selling them stateside..

On a sad note, I saw a Chrysler Airflow sitting in some empty garage rusting into dust. I wanted to go get a trailer and take the thing home with me..

About $200.00 for the full size spare and wheel and $520 for the 9 speaker 240 watt infinity. I believe the price is consistent in both countries.
Nice to have the full spare, I don't however I don't remeber the last time I had a flat either. Excess weight also.
Stereo is nice...not great. Needs better rear speakers.
