I am having a problem on my 96 intrepid with the trunk not sitting straight. The passenger side is slightly raised. Because of this my trunk leaked so I had to add a strip of weather striping on the trunk lid to seal it in. I have tried aligning it and still no luck. Anyone else had this problem and how do I fix it. It is almost like the trunked warped some how.

Only thing I can come up with is that you sprung the hinge. I did that by packing to much into my MGB's trunk(electrical nightmare, but nice little toy). Only thing you can do is replace the hinge if that is the case. Take it to a body shop and get an estimate. They can give you an idea wat you are truly looking at. If they are any good. Sometimes they will share a secret as to an easy fix
