I've been looking for a Second Gen Intrepid and as usual I'm looking for ways to improve the performance before I even have one. Porting and polishing, cams and headers, you can't get the full potential unless you can tune it. With that in mind I contacted DIY Auto Tune and gave them the specs on the 2.7 and here's what they recommended.

"MS3-Pro

(Trim sensors down as needed.)

MS3Pro-PKG1 $1199 MS3-Pro package with 8' (2.4m) wiring harness and tuning cables GM3bar-map $64 MAP sensor GM3bar_piggy $11.50 Pigtail connector for MAP sensor CLTIATwPiggy $17.75 Coolant / Oil temperature sensor IATwPiggy $22.25 Intake Air Temperature Sensor 38NPT-Bung_A $9 Aluminum bung for IAT sensor (Also available in stainless steel) Subtotal without wideband-- $1323.50

The wideband oxygen sensor system is optional, but a very useful tuning tool. We carry the Innovate line.

And here is a quote for a pretty complete MS3X system with the ECU/Stim assembled:

MS3X357-C_BL $645 Assembled Megasquirt-III V3.57 with MS3X JimStim-C $88 Assembled JimStim diagnostic board StimPower $9.50 Power supply for JimStim
MSHarness8 $67 8' main board wiring harness
MS3X-Hrn8 $72 8' MS3X wiring harness
IATwPiggy $22.25 Intake Air Temperature Sensor 38NPT-Bung_A $9 Aluminum bung for IAT sensor (Also available in stainless steel) MS3TuneCable $6.95 USB communications cable for MS3 Subtotal without wideband-- $919.70"

If you're thinking thats alot of money it is so I requested dealer information thinking I could get anyone on the forum a good deal. No such luck; the agreement call for sticking to their suggested retail price. Understandable it just doesn't help us much. I think the best option would be to work with them to set up a group buy and see if they are willing to put together a package price like they have for the Mitsubishi 3.0 V6:

In addition to this I also have a pretty complete parts list for a supercharger setup if anyone is interested.

What about AEM's piggy back systems?

It's a popular thing at our shop. In the SRT4 Neon's they have retarded amount of offered settings and features.

It would be my preference except it's only wired for four injectors and I couldn't figure out if it could be configured for batch delivery from sequential.

If you could advance as well as retard the spark advance this would be the perfect option.
