I have looked but did not see anything extensive on these subjects.

I'd like to use a HID or just something brighter to see better with at night. It doesn't have to be like....a BMW, but something not so yellowee while driving.
Does anyone have any suggestions(I know, opinions like butts...some are just better than others...I really want yours)?
Not that I'm rich, but cost is not a huge factor in my decision. I also do not want to blind the on coming driver. I was thinking that after I get a bumper with fogs, I'd like a set in there too. Maybe I'm just looking at getting a set of Bright Whites from somewhere...not sure.

Aight, my other question has to do with ride. I want the stance that I have in my avatar. The best way to come by this in my opinion is to do an airbag system. http://www.ridetech.com/catalog/CoolRide-25-1.html
I was looking at coil overs but from what I've seen there is really only one set that is out there for the Trep.
Plus it'd be cool to drop the car right over the tires when parked.
Aight with all that said....give it to me. What are you guys and gals thoughts...I'll be waiting patiently by my computer....

HID: don't do a plug-n-play kit. All they do is blind everyone but you. I saw a guy in a Taurus who must have had 30,000k color b/c it was BLUE...like Smurf blue. The light output was worse than stock and i would imagine the cops don't like that color much either. For the 1st gens, there's a good aftermarket selection of headlights. If i were you, i would purchase another set of headlights, some HID projectors, and modify them together. Would looks sweet and get you the lumens you're looking for.
Airbags: By the looks of your avatar, bags are the only way to go. I don't have any experience with it, but i know it usually involves a lot of pumps, tanks, and batteries. Ceratinly isn't cheap. The other option would be lowering springs, but to get that rake you might have to have a set custom cut. A machine shop might do that for you...or get out your tools.

Thanks RCE2WIN, for the help.

Anybody else? Come on people!! Where are the outspoken/typers here. Are these bad ideas or what?

not sure on the lowering/airbags, but for headlights I have Sylvania Silverstars. These are not HIDs, but are brighter than stock. Another option for headlights would be a set of PIAAs.

30 000 is purple pinkish. Smurf blue is 12 000 I think. I've been trying to look for a picture that I had with the comparison of kelvin temperatures (colors) to show you, if I find it later i'll send it to you rce2win

No matter what people say, the answer always is 'no hid without projectors' ! (or hid reflector if you want to get into details ;D)

The light cutoff of the OEM headlights in the 2nd gen Intrepids is actually pretty good. Been running a PnP kit for 3+ years now, and no issues at all. Cops don't bother me either.

I'm glad you answered this. Did you say before that this is illegal? Can't I point them down a little more.

Plug aNd Plug are a copy of the real thing. Also mostly because people use it in a halogen headlight, instead of using it with a hid projector like is meant to be.

(I think 300m specials have projectors in their headlight. If i'm not mistaking. You can get them and put them on your car, and run them with no problems)

This is a pic of standing in front of pnp hid kit (passenger side) [driver side is normal low beam bulb] and looking right at it, and as you can see it emits a brighter light. People think blue is better than white, when it fact the human eye is more sensitive to blue and it gives it that illusion and they just think the color blue is cool and purple is awesome!... :p

This pic is of the car at about 30 feet from the wall with a pnp kit into a halogen headlight. As you can see the way it lights is not normal, is emitting the light the wrong way. People when look at hid, they look right at it. They see a brighter light thinking is better. But they don't look at how it emits the light.

This pic is of an oem hid. The way hid is meant to be. Actually someone retrofited a projector into this car's headlight.

Anybody that has a pnp kit. Post a pic of your hid against a wall from around 35 feet to see how it emits light...
