I have a laptop that I use at school often and I have a spot that I sit often. On it I have a nice little program that can gaphicly display how far away wireless points are. Well there are multiple points all around the school(which are all called NTC). Most of them are right on the edge of my range but there is one that is very good. Now every time I try to get a connection it usually will pick one of the farthest ones away. Then very often it will drop my connectivity and will not pick up the one that is very near. Every so often it will pick it up but ususally it is just luck. Now my program also displays the mac addreess of each routers that is can see. I was wondering if there was a way to make the computer connect directly to the mac address of a router. It would be very nice if I could just connect to that one router all the time.
