So, was putting the winter wheels on the Trep this morning, and after installing, reset the TPS sensors, then went to check the tires for air pressure.

Right rear valve cap was a bit tight, couldn't remove it with my fingers, so "just" gave it a slight turn with pliers.
Sucker snapped right off.
So gang, the moral here is two-fold.

First, DON'T use pliers on the caps, if they don't move, soak with WD-40 or something first.

Second, DON'T use those cheap metal caps available at the auto parts stores.
DC says to use their stock caps - for good reason obviously. If you already have them, probably should get them off before the winter.

So, now off to the tire shop to have the TPS replaced. Luckily I have a couple of spares.
