Yes I did a search but nothing mentioned what to use. I need to find something to use on my door weatherstriping, it seems to move on me and everytime i adjust it, it moves again, what can i use to keep it in place. Its that tar-like stuff. Thanks.

It sounds like the weather striping has shrunk. Some of us have cut the weather striping at the bottom and then, pushed it back into location along the edges. You will probably end up with a gap of 1" to 2" on the bottom. I cut a piece to fill the gap and sealed it with silicon. I have some (weather stipping if you need some, or the salvage yards have them. I have sold some (1' for $3 for shipping) to some members.

Someone used to make a paint-on goo kind of stuff that would reinforce torn or worn weather stripping.

Anyone remember what that stuff is called???
