Here are the pictures of my new Deep Slate 99 Intrepid ES:

http://pictures.dodgeintrepid.net/intrepid99/

This is how I got the car from the dealer. I haven't touched it at all (other than driving it). We can do a little before and after now :)

Let me know what you think...

Very impressive. If my previous car was not black, i definitely would have gotten the Intrepid in black.

Looks great.

Randy: Any chance I can send you some pics to host? It seems that my freeservers isnt working now.

Thanks

97 sport: Thanks :)

Intrepidatious: Definately gonna get that curved spoiler from spoilers4less. Probably gonna get vent visors again, yet, I'm not 100% on that one. I thought about taking them off my old car, but just figured it be easier to buy a new set with the tape already on one side if I do do it.

Warlord: Well, I did keep my headlight covers from my Platinum one. They are in my trunk right now. I was planning on putting them on, but have not made up my mind yet? The car looks very sharp up front without them, so I'm having a tough time deciding. Another factor, it that one of mine, I think, is misshaped a little, and I noticed that it had dug into the plastic on my 98. I really don't want that to happen to this one. I think I may be able to sand some of it down so that won't happen, though. Anyone else had this problem?

I'm rather partial to the light covers on black cars...

Intrepid99: Kinda throws you a bit when there are so many gold and silver Intrepids out there and your is a mixture, so that when you park it and leave it, it looks gold, then you come back and can't seem to locate it right off the bat, cuz now it's a deep silver color! I think it is a very classy color too.

speaking of that, i saw a younger guy (little older than me?) driving a 2nd gen SE gold a few days ago. we pulled up to the light and he gave me no indication that he was looking for trouble but he slammed it on green and i thought about it but didn't really feel like going to reel him in. i guess having a fast car gives you the say-so in picking races. besides, he was so far ahead by the time i would have punched it i would have lost anyway, and how could i justify losing to an SE? <g>

I do not think the headlight covers will look good on a black car. Same goes with the window visors. As far as im concerned... it makes the car look gawdy.

Also... i dunno but wouldnt the car look strange if you tint just three windows? Especially looking at it from the side... it just looks wierd to me like they forgot to finish the job. :)
