i have the 8 speaker 'premium sound' pacakge in my 'trep. not the infinity system but the dodge pieces. does anyone know what exactly is in this system. all i can find on it regarding what it is 140 watt amp, 8 speakers. what size of speakers? sub's? center channels? thanks!

I beleive the speakers are 1&2 in the A pillar (Those little ones buy the mirrors.) 3&4 are in the door 5,6,7,8 are actually only two speakers really, but they are two way speakers that are the 6*9's in the back. You have a 140 amp, not sure what speakers are hooked up to it though. No subs are in the car.

The Infinity system is the same except for Infinity speakers of course, and a center channel speaker in the dash I beleive.

Infinity speakers actually have the Infinity logo on them, right? Just wondering as I bought my 98 used and no one seemed to know many specs about it.

Also, where abouts is the amp located?

grimmster the Infinity system also has an upgraded amp, its 240. And I think for the standard 8 speaker system the amp is 120, Im almost sure of it, but I could be wrong/

Bruce, in my 98 the amp is on the passenger side by the door. If you pull off that kick panel, you should be able to see it up in there. I have pictures in the link in my signature.

I was debating over installing my Sub but when the local stereo shop said $100 for parts and labor done that same day I couldn't resist. I'm glad I did too, the job is clean. Couldn't find a wire if I wanted too.

Sometimes it pays to let someone else do the work, 3 hours and $100 VS. me in the driveway the whole weekend frustrated as hell.
