[INTREPER]

Hey folks!

I don't know about you, but i'm pretty tired of waiting around for some company to pop up and start making performance parts for LH cars! The ones that are out their are either taking too long, or not really putting any products out.

So here's my idea...I'm going to take my life savings, along with a close friend of mine, and begin a new company called "TREP TECHNOLOGIES". I dont intend on making products that will not deliver performance. And i'm not going to be like K&N and be over priced either. Things are already in the works, using my car as the project car to begin with and then moving onto other models very soon since they are so similar.

My question to everyone on here is "WHAT DO YOU WANT?!?!?!?!" The sky is no limit...throw your ideas out, and tell me what you think. I want to make this happen for all the TREP owners out their who want more out of their rides! So let me know what you guys think!

I'd like to see some type of turbo/supercharger, intercooler, ram air, NOS direct port injection system, (I'm sure to think of more)

I agree with all of the above and some kind of tranny up grade. 4.10 gears and stronger parts.

Intakes are being worked on....RAM air hood is being designed....supercharger is on the drawing boards! What else guys, come on, I need everyones opinions! THIS IS FOR YOU GUYS!!!

Id go for a better tranny this is the problem with these cars, IS the transmission cant hold out anything so improvement to the tranny. Second I would say suspension one that lowers the car and is safe with out vibrations on the mounts.

Intake is not a problem then a super charger with maybe 8psi to bost up the R/T to 320HP and i think everyone will be Happy.

I mean that stuff shouldnt be a problem since the prowler shares the same engine and i think the same transmission except Rear Wheel drive. So good luck

And if it goes well with youre ideas on a performance products then i might just get me a new 2002 R/T instead of the TL-Type S

man.. I was just dreaming about a supercharger.... that would take some work tho. Could a single serpentene belt hand the rest of the components AND a supercharger? would it be setup kinda like the Supercharged 3800's that GM makes?

How about a suspension system and spoiler that raises and lowers based on speed to cut down on vibration.

How about a 5-speed manual retrofit, say from the Stratus R/T or the Avenger? I think that and firm suspension are going to be most-bang-for buck solutions, considering that without tranny replacement supercharging is retarded.

SOME STUFF FOR 1ST GENS would be greatly appreciated like body kit,intake,other cool stuff, suspension, your idea definetly rules for making stuff for intrepids

If you could figure out how to get the ZF tranny to work in our cars, that would be a huge improvement. Also a high performance intake plenum would be nice.

What I would like to see (tempered by the fact that I can change only a limited number of things in Solo II stock class):

• Larger front anti-roll bar
• Adjustable struts

The rest (air cleaner, anti-foam, tires) I can already get or have already gotten. Stock class really limits the changes that you can make, and there is no way that the Intrepid could hold its own in Street Modified against modified Porsches, Corvettes and such.

You know what??? I was thinking the exact same thing as Intreper a couple of weeks ago, but I wasn't as ambitious. I just wanted to make ram-air hoods like the one I saw in imaging (man that intrepid looked sweet!!!)

Wish list:
1) Ram-air hood (oh man if my car looked like the one in imaging)
2) Rear wing
3) Body kit
4) Supercharger

cat-back mandrel bent dual exhaust kit would be the norm...
strut tower brace, uhh...underdrive pulleys,...an engine rebuild kit would be nice too, but a little extensive...

hehehee what about a "shaker" hood!!! that would be hilarious...
