ive been speaking with an internet salesman for my local dealer and there is a '01 r/t im looking at. the first quote he gave me was for 24,900 out the door (tax, license, rebates). is this a fair deal or should i haggle for lower. thanks for the input.

I beleive that is a really good price.
I came out paying close to 30,000 for my 2000 r/t.

I paid 24,300 for mine and it's loaded, not fully, but loaded. and it was on the lot less than a few weeks

i bought it. i got it for 24,500 with tax and licensing. i think the price of the car alone was near 22,000 which i thought was fair. over 200 to register that puppy in cali. its got cloth interior, moonroof, full size spares, and the "driver convenience package". i am stoked to say the least. much better deal the the ex-rental es i was contemplating.

pretty good pickup. the only problem with that car is that now there's one more set of taillights i'll be staring at if i punch it.

I only paided $18,912 for mine last Oct. 24,000 is too much. Get him down below 22,000 at least. good luck.
