(I searched the site and didn't find anything on the Forum or the FAQ. )

I'm going to begin looking for a set of 16" steel wheels for winter for my 2002 SXT and even though I can buy new wheels easily enough, I thought I'd check the salvage yards first.

Will 16" steel wheels from a 1st generation Intrepid (or other Chrysler product with the same bolt pattern and centerbore) fit? I don't even know the offset...

Yeah I know that is what you meant but I was just letting you know that the post was not there and was located the General how-to section.

Firstly, I was hoping to swing a deal for a 2000 3.2l Concorde Lxi but after several discussions with the wife who said she really likes our '97 3.5l Intrepid ES, I've decided to bite the bullet and have the tranny repaired instead. Thanks to those who answered my other thread on the topic.


Now, the Trep will go in tomorrow for the rebuild (fingers crossed that I only need new seals) and meanwhile I just came across a pretty good deal for used 16" ASA rims in very good condition so I've decided that if I'm going to keep the Trep I might as well class it up a bit by getting better rims if I can on a budget.

So, this brings me to a question.

The rims are 16 x 7 1/2 and read an offset of ET30. Unfortunately this offset doesn't jive with the info that I found noted above by kcarlos2000, which shows an offset of ET35.

Thus, my question is, is the ET30 offset a problem or will these rims fit my Goodyear Tripletred tires 225/60/R16 a-ok?
