Howdy, again!
Anyone here tried to place the 3.5's oil pan gasket onto a 3.3 engine? The oil pan is the same part, I'm mainly worried about the meeting point between the pan and the 3.3's timing cover gasket. I won't be able to compare the the two gaskets until AFTER I rip off my oil pan and would like to be better informed before that happens. I don't mind having to mod stuff, just rather not have any nasty surprises.

Thanks,

Glad you asked ;-)
The windage tray that's part of the 3.5's gasket. A windage tray helps limit the amount of oil the crankshaft has to sling around while it's spinning. Might not be much but it does take power to carry all that oil. Also helps keep oil in the sump under hard acceleration and braking. A win-win. Personally, I want one for any wet-sump oiling system.
