If there is one thing I have to say I don't like about my Intrepid it would have to be the flat black trim around the windows. Does anyone know if it would be possible to paint the trim around the windows gloss black like the Chryslers? Basically I want to paint the trim and the vent visors high gloss black and I don't know what type of paint to use and how to go about doing this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would think you could just use a high-gloss clear coat since they are already black. I'm sure even the clear coat automotive spray paint at an auto parts store would work.

Or, just find one at a scrap yard and take them.

Paint would be hard to get to stick to plastic in the longterm.

I'm not sure if taking them off of a Chrysler is possible... That would mean that I would have to remove the two black pieces of trim where the doors meet in the center and the piece that is all the way in the back. How would I do this? If there is a way to remove these pieces and I just don't know about it I'll be at the salvage yard this weekend.
