I went out and bought a pair of chrome windshield washer lights without checking under my 2nd Gen. hood. To my surprise today I found that they are covered by a second layer of sheet metal and there's no way of getting to them without cutting the metal.

What the?????
I've read on here that a couple of people have put them on their 2nd Generation Trep's. How???????

I took a pair of long (point) needle nose pliers, and took my time putting that clip on. It's kind of difficult but keep trying..

I might be taking mine off though.. Everyone here in Philadelphia has them especially blue...

How do you hook up the hose part for the washer fluid?

The washer jets are put in from the outside of the hood not underneath. The washer jet housing has an expandable plastic clip that holds it in place. You need to pry under the jet and lift it up, using something that does not scratch the paint. It takes a few tries to pry it up, but you will get .

Ummm, I bought a pair of those and I found out that it wouldn't work. There is no way to secure the nozzles because the aftermarket ones are screw ons, not snap ins. I don't even think there's enough room for the hoses to be attached without kinking the rubber. The only way that I think this would work would be to drill the second sheet of metal where the nozzles are. I'm not gonna do that to my baby though. I returned the nozzles unfortunetly =(.

I tried using two-sided tape but it didn't work... I'm thinking of trying to use the clip from the original sprayers.. Maybe cut out the top and use some kind of glue to stick the clip onto the new lighted sprayers.... then clip them in again..

What have other people done?
