I already have 1 switch installed for my amp, but that was a simple job with the remote wire. I want to hook some 12v stuff up to switches without using the cigarette adapter thing. I think pimped3point3 has done something like this? I know I'm gonna have to hook up to the battery for this, and thats another challenge.

1. what wires should connect where with what prongs on the switches?
2. Where should I run the wire through to connect to the battery? ottowrkr told me of a shifter cable grommet, but I haven't been able to find it.
any help with this is much apprecciated.

If it isn't lighted, it doesn't matter what prong you use for +/-. if it is lighted then one of there are 3 prongs. One is for the light and the others should be marked. if not then the others doesn't matter which prong for +/-.

About the wire to the batter i don't know.

for my underglow kit, I used a outlet in the fuse box. Get it from there because it is regulated. if you hook it up to the battery you might get more than 12V. this caused a fire in my ride, so I moved it to the fuse pannel.
