bill looked simply awesome today, coming from last place to win the race, but matt won the championship with a top 5 finish
Great day for #9 and #12 moves ahead of #24 in points only 1 more pole for Newman to get this year, and if he gets it he will have won poles in 1/3 of the races this year, pretty stout!dabirdz96 said:bill looked simply awesome today, coming from last place to win the race, but matt won the championship with a top 5 finish
Other than there names , thats about all they share . Sr was a very aggresive , push you out of the way style driver . Jr is a more laid back non aggressive driver .adaptabl said:
Jr is not half the driver his father was. I think it will be many years before Jr wins the championship if he ever does.
It must have been cold there for a while. Alan Kulwicki won the championship in '92. He was also from Wisconsin. Ironic in that Bill won the race that Kulwicki won the championship at too. Dang, if Bill had just led one more lap at Atlanta that year....jcman311 said:Hey hey, a Wisconsin driver winning the Winston (soon to be Nextel ) Cup. I think hell has officially frozen over in the South.
