Pearls?

Where's that?

Am I having a "blonde" moment?

Also, seen any 2nd gens around? Seem to be hard to find for some reason. Or maybe I'm not looking in the right places.

Cheers

Pohels in Centerville has one for $40 (sold!)

I think he said he had a 98 trep (looking for wheels for the 04 cord.)

Not running 17" snows this winter!

All they had was a set of ist gen trep twists for $200

Would like to find vesion tsi chrome wheels for the blue cord and run the LHS wheels on the 04 for the winter.

I know its early!

Yup. Use engine enamel and several coats. Make sure you get it clean to the metal. Any rust you leave on it will just grow here in NS.
Crappy tire engine enamel in the spray bomb works fine for small parts.
Just remember that prepping it properly is the key.

I think i'll checker board it so it catches my eye when i'm under it so i can catch any rusties!

If i can find my zinc chromate primer i'll use that as well.
