Not too shabby this year. I only spent a little time in the 300Mclub.org and DodgeIntrepid.net area, but it looked like a damn good turnout. DI took up one side of an entire field, and the 300M guys took the other side. It also looked like Kenny and Pat got the primo spots, as their cars were the first I spotted and told me where everyone was :p. I gotta say the best mods in the show are a tough pick between Sebs body kit, Pats paint job, Kenny's suicide doors and whatever the hell he had going on in his trunk, and one of the M guys had a nice lambo door setup.

And, since I'm 18 this year, I got to do the test drives. I drove the Charger R/T and the Crossfire SRT-6 Hardtop. I liked the Charger overall (after I adjusted the seat of course, damn lady before me had it so far up only a thin midget could drive that thing!), it had nice power and handling, comfortable seats, and mildly good looks (seems better than the drawings we all saw over the years). The only thing I didn't like was the shift knob, it felt so plasticky, but it at least reminded me of our Infiniti Q45, the way it shifted (right down left down left down into Drive). The Crossfire was something else, maybe it just because it was a car show test drive or whatever since I couldn't take too long, but I hated it. Pulling out of the spot, it was reluctant to move, and the interior was ugly and plastickly, way too small for my 6'3", almost 6'4" frame. Both cars, though had a nice exhaust note and pick-up (once I got the Crossfire moving, it moved!) My only regret was test driving the Charger R/T. Why? Because now I want one, that's why! :brutal_34 Highlight of the test drives: While waiting in line for the Crossfire, a young leggy blond went to drive of the Charger R/T's. It took her five minutes to realize that the reason the car was not moving, was because the engine was not running. LMAO the guy went up to the window to help her out when she was just rolling back towards the tents!

I'm sure when the other guys come back on Monday, there will be plenty of pictures to share, I forgot my camera :p. I have to ask DIT why he was fiddling with his front license plate though...

no one did, except Kenny. i walked around for a minute or two with my dad, looking at a few choice cars, then left the section. i left the fair grounds at around a quarter after four, because i didn't really see the need to stay much longer. im not the social type. thing is i completely forgot to bring my intrepid things with me into the fairgrounds, left them in the car :gun:

besides, three people met me last year (when i had the 00 rod knock Champagne SE out in the road), and i didn't think they would recognize me anyway.

if had my trep you would have met me, as i wouldn't have left her side for no one, maybe by Carlisle '06 i'll have another trep, working on finding a good deal on an ES around here where i can trade in the GP for a good sum

You should have came up to me and asked me didn't even know you were there. Again...you came last year I saw you driving off when you were leaving and this year didn't see you at all was looking for the blue trepid. I wanted to do the test drives this year since I had turned 18 but I didn't make it down there in VA I checked out the charger I think it was an r/t it had hemi on the side. It was nice wish I could afford it, but yeah well pat hooked me up with an intrepid ring thingy to go around my plate. So I was going to toss it on. And it wasn't working out so I looked and I guess the dealer or my grandpa put the front liceses plate bracket on upside down. So I had to take the whole bracket off put it on the right way then put my intrepid thing thing around it.

yea, i would have been there with the blue trep, but like i said a few times before, i had an accident and had to buy a new car, which ended up being a Pontiac. im HOPING that by show time next year, i can find another ES in great condition at a used dealership, and trade in the Pontiac for it, and rejoin the Carlisle Crew. i've found three that i like so far in pictures. one has 8 carfax reports, another 15, and the last one has 7. two of them 98's. all under 7k and all with less than 80k miles... its gonna be hard finding one with college coming in the fall, but im gonna do it! even if it means picking it up show day and rolling in all dirtied up :p
