Hey gang. I'm new to this board but hav associations to many boards. I've found them to be the best source of information on any given car. My sister just bought a 1993 intrepid ES with 140000 miles and a brand new transmission and tires for 1800. Overall the car is in pretty good shape. it does have a little body damage behind the passanger rear door but it's not horrible. It also has the 3.3
Anyways more often then not when you try to start the car it starts and dies immediately. If you start it with your foot on the gas pedal it will stay running until you let off of the gas. If you keep you foot on the gas and with your left foot hold the brake while putting it in gear it will stay running after you get it in gear. I'm assuming it's a sensor of some kind and i bet it's fairly common on these cars. If somone could let me know that would be great.
I'm already falling in love with this car. I popped the hood and realized how easy it will be to work on. I was so happy. I may have to get a different car now.
