2000 Dodge Intrepid Climate control issues

We have a 2000 Intrepid and sometimes when you turn the fan on for ac or heat it does not do anything. When this happens the power windows also dont work. Weird. Then you sometimes can turn the car off and on a few times and it will start working. Or it can sit all night and is fine the next morning until it decides to act up again. Anyone have any similar issues or a clue what it may be besides replacing the control unit.
I'm guessing that your ignition switch is intermittent and needs to be replaced. The output of one of the contacts of the ignition switch is circuit A22. Fuse 23 powers the blower motor. Circuit Breaker 1 powers the power windows. Fuse 23 and Circuit Breaker 1 are powered by circuit A22.

It's possible that the connector that plugs to the ignition switch is not fully mated, causing the intermittent operation. That would be a long shot, but verify that that isn't the problem before replacing the switch.

2000 Dodge intrepid button don't work for the trunk release
In the future, start a new thread for a new problem. 👍

Almost always, the reason for the trunk (decklid) release to stop working is that the connector at the decklid latch has popped off the latch - you're not the first to experience this problem. Easy peasy. I don't have my LH car anymore, but IIRC, you have to pop a couple of liner retainers loose from the latch area to see and access the connector to reconnect it. If it keeps popping off, you might do well to add a small/tiny zip tie to help hold it in place (or just put one on anyway).
