Ok so i got a 2000 ES with a K&N filter (but i forgot to take a pic of that ill do it later) 5% tint but the guy at the place said that if i ever get it tested itll show up as 2%. The legal is 35% if nobody knows. I also have 2 15" tempests running 600 watts to each from a jbl 1200.1. My head unit is an Alpine CDA-9807 MP3 CD/WMA love the mp3 feature. Im thinking about getting exhaust cause those 3 mufflers have to go. I put everything in myself or with help from a friend i dont like people messing with my stuff.

I see all these people talking about how they got awesome tint and its just 28 or something, lame. I would never waste my money on something that isn't even used to its full potential. some people like to keep there tint legal! in some states and cities cops can be a real ***** about window tint. in SC the legal limit is 28%.

Your speaker wire looks kind of small for the 1200.1 , what gauge is it?

Where i live the legal is 35% and they have "tint police" but as long as your not speeding or running red lights the police arent going to pull over a full size family sedan. I have 4 gauge amp kit from http://www.knukonceptz.com/ On many forums ive been to people say that the Jbl 1200.1 is actually pushing 1350 if you get it tested.

then u should go to 2 guage i think ...but what do i know...i've got 20% tint and the limit here is 35..pssh i think if you like it you like it...if you don't think my tint is dark enough then drive ur own car! lol but i do like the way your car looks and i bet that system POUNDS. That's the head unit i want to get. You like it?

hmmmm, how loud are them tempests, i myself am interested in some adire products. but i am pretty well set with my 18" resonant engineering xxx.

If you look at Adire and RE subs, they are almost identical, even as far as specs, not to mention looks, just look at the basket and top plate.

I got metered a while back and only hit 144db. Because i have a car and not an SUV and how the intrepid is very spacious i lost a few DBs. That alpine head unit is very nice its never skipped but i wish i had gotten a flip down or something with some more options on it its pretty plain.

Ive read that 3 - 3.5 cubic feet is about right for each one. I also think the port should be tuned to 35 hertz. But its best to go to www.elitecaraudio.com and check the forums out.
