I've got the intake plenum off my sisters 3.3 so I can get at the camshaft position sensor wiring better, I cleaned the intake and I’m going to do some mild porting. I wish I had an excuse to take the lower intake manifold off then I get some real porting done, but oh well its not even my car .

The 3.3 Plenum is actually a nice design inside and the ports are of decent size and are decently matched to each other and the gasket. What I plan to do is smooth the transitions from the plenum to the runner and after the throttle body there are some casting marks I’m going to get rid of.

I'll get some pictures, if anyone wants pictures of anything specific while the plenum is off (like pics of injector stuff etc) let me know.

How hard was it to get off of there ? I want to get mine off to torque the valve cover gaskets.

Camshaft position sensor is right near the thermostat housing. Below it a little. I'm just about done porting, getting ready to take some pics later.

Well there isnt much you can do without going extrude hone. Basicly you can clean up at the Throttle body flange and the tops of the intake runners inside the plenum. Aswell as some misc casting flash inside you can get to. Not alot to be gained, because it is a good design to begin with.

what are you expecting in hp like 4-8 or less?

Well about that, but i'm expecting 4 or 5 out of the throttle body too. Good amount of work done there short of larger throttle plate.
