Damn, damn, damn do we ever have any luck with our cars? Could Chrysler cars be any easier to steal or what.

I was just at the beach today for less then a half-hour and when I come back from the beach a blue car was in the same place my intrepid was parked. Sad thing is... I just installed 2 more amps with an EQ to my system last weekend. I could KILL those F*** heads right now.. but my anger ain't going to help the cops find my car.

How many stolen intrepids does that make now?

Here's the scope...

My car was found completely stripped 4 hours after it was stolen. The rims, CD Player, EQ, 3 amps, 2 subs, air intake, clear tails, neon rope, and neon bar were all missing. What did they leave in the car? Baby seat, CD's expect for 2pac, my son's ball, my $80 gear shifter handle. Them f**ken a$$hole's left the car behind a church, out of all places... they are going to hell now.

Plus side... I have friends that know other friends that do this stuff (NOT THAT I PROMOTE IT!!!!!!!!!). At first, one of them was checking to see if one of their friends jacked my car - at least I would have gotten my stereo and rims back, for a small price and I would have paid it. Nope... not them but now they are out looking to see who was in their area stealing cars and TRUST me if they find out who it was and they don't have my gear they are going to wish they did because they will get the sh** kicked out of them.

Found out that my insurance will only cover $1500 of my stereo when its retail value is $4000. I haven't talked to my adjustor yet but should hear from her tomorrow.

Anyway, I have to go pickup the pictures of my wreck... I truly hope my car gets written off! Would like to post the pic's but I don't have a scanner at hand. I will keep you all up dated, as I know more.

I meet with the insurance adjustor today and he pretty much said the car's a write off. Although I wanted to car to be written off I was hoping to get some more money then just book value because the book value of my car will not cover my stereo alone. The adjustor mentioned a price figure somewhere between $3,000 - 3,500.:mg: :mg: that's it! I can't even buy a decent car for this price.

Although I ready liked my Intrepid and had the nicest one in Nova Scotia... I'm gonna have to find a car that holds its value. That way if something like this happens again I will at least be able to buy another car.

I think I'm going to cry:cry:

Pic's

Here's the deal... I don't have a scanner but my father does and as soon as I fix his computer and put XP on it I will post the pics.
I just hate looking at them... if you know what I mean.

Guess what I have for a rental? Hyundai - Accent... hehe! At least my insurance covers the rental but only for $25 a day that's why I have the Hyundai.

Post the pics soon.

Rental

I know that it can do a 140 km/hr but it gets to scary going any faster in that car.

Since the rental is only a Hyundi... I am beating the **** out of it. Its like driving a go cart just a bit higher off the ground. Damn, the weels on the rental are smaller then the spare for my Intrepid, which is scary for the way I drive. The other day I was driving down Main street and a van stopped in front of me at a light that I didn't see turn red... so I stomped on the Brake and the wheels locked up almost causing me to run into the back of the van. Where in the intrepid I would have stopped much much faster.

I really miss my car:cry:

Outcome

Good news... no wait VERY good news.

My insurance company finally coughs up the money for my car and writes me a check for  $6266.15  after five weeks of waiting. I have them a quote for my stereo gear since I had bought some of it used (not stolen) and two of my amps for the price of one, I didn't want the insurance company to know that. So, my local car stereo company did a quote for replacement parts totaling $4500 with tax. Well my insurance company gave me half of this and almost $4000 for the trep. Very sweet deal...

I was able to strip my alarm, front audiobahn speakers, and gear shifter from the trep. My next car will have my alarm (it has a starter kill), a pager system, and some other form of disabler so the car will not start. Need I mention that the alarm disable button is also going to be hidden behind something in the car (I don't care if I have to unscrew something to get at the disabler). People put nice alarm's in there cars but don't hide the disable switch well and the theft is able to find it... totaling disabling the alarm system.
