I just had a K40 radar detector installed in my R/T. The unit is installed in the front of the car and picks up X,K, Ka and Laser radars. It is also VG-2 invisible. It comes with a one year ticket rebate where they will pay for any and all tickets that you get while using the K40. I am not really worried about that part anyway. They will even replace the system if it gets stolen. The system is pretty much invisible in the car. The only visible part is a red light on top of the steering column. There is a power control switch mounted on the dash that just looks like another knob. The power light is mounted in the center console so it will not be a distraction to the driver. This system is totally stealthy. Cannot wait to use it on my trip to Missouri when I move there in two weeks.

Should have saved your $200 on the upgrade for the laser detector...they do work but 95% of the time if it goes off you are too late to do anything about it. It is rare that if a cop is shooting cars with a laser that you will detect him before he shoots your car.
I have a Valentine One detector and I always wondered how the laser warning sounded like because laser cops are rare in most places. Well while driving through Wisconsin I found out it sounds like a siren...which was fitting as I soon had a siren pulling me over.
