Okay, I admit cheating and logging in as Mr 2000 when I saw we were at 1,999 but we're past that now so I feel better about it.

Anyone want the name "Mr 2000" I'll send ya the PW...?

I'm not trying to be an a-hole here Stac... but you saw the outcome of some threads with the term "whoring" being emphasized. Senior members don't appreciate the whoring. That is why I have calmed down alot in the long and hijack thread. It just makes everyone happy.

Might as well throw in my $.02 worth, personally it doesn't matter to me how much anyone posts. This board is for posting isn't it? You could also say that a member with 0 to 5 posts and hasn't posted in months is not a real member so should we delete them, No! If this board were strictly for technical information exchange you wouldn't have half the people offering help or advice. Anyway, that's my thought of the day.:)

its just for show, and i have been accused of so many things its not even funny, I dont get harsh nor mean with anyone, no one ever points that out they just see me postwhoring, and brand me a jackass. Just call me whatever you like, Ill never care cause there is a little postwhore in all of us.

Hey don't take it personal people, lol...geez...I was just asking to get perspective, I have nothing against either of you. In fact, I've imed with Crombie and I really think you're a great guy Pimped. I figured that a comment like that would be taken personally, but I was just asking.

As for the bandwidth thing, I don't care about that, that's for the admin to deal with. Therefore I could care less what you use. It's just my personal thing that I like new interesting threads at the top of the "hodgepodge" forums, but hey, if that's the place where you guys post I'm not gonna complain.

Some people (like myself) just like to be social. It's not about a ****ing number under your name.

I am quite sure that you were referring to me as well as others who have insane ppd's. If I were a member since the beginning when this site started and some clown joined a couple months later and he or she had 10 times the ppd and posts... would I care? No... I wouldn't. Yes, someone did make a valid point to me and I kinda felt bad... so I donated some dough to help cover SOME of the bandwith that I have used. I don't give a s**t what anyone thinks of me. I am not a speed poster, am I a post "whore"? Some say yes, and others could care less. The purpose of the long thread IS NOT TO UP THE PPD's (contrary to what some people think); if you look on the very first post you'll see the question: "Can we beat this?" It says nothing about:"Can we rack up our ppd?" Since I cannot get into chat (and no I'm not banned) I use the "Hijack this thread" as my chat. Believe it or not: Some of our VERY NEWEST members ask me if I am a moderator. I laugh and reply "no". I honestly feel that I am not senior enough to be a moderator..... Hell there are mods that don't even have 1,000 posts... And yes ppd's is nothing but a number. Do I feel special? No. Do I feel cool? No... I feel that if we aren't bothering anybody, then why bother us? And oh no, ALL of my posts aren't worthless... I have posted in the 2nd gen forums alot. I don't know my Intrepid inside and out, so sometimes my ?'s are idiotic... but oh well. thats how you learn.... So if the "high ups" really have a problem with me, then I'll go away from the site for a while... Just PM me and let me know....

Was that a negative comment about the whoring, or were you just joking? When I read that "incriminating thread" it didn't seem to be a very serious comment. I guess I don't see what the big deal is.

I say, if any non-LH car guys come onto the site, hell even if they ARE LH-car guys, they should be welcome as long as they aren't here just to whore or start ****. The only members I know of that were banned disagreed with everyone, called names for no apparent reason, or came on just to down-talk LH cars and their owners.

Well it has been made inherintly clear that we aren't allowed here on "your" site because of previous actions on another site which I profusely apologize for. I find it a little disheartning that you would treat a member like this no matter what they have done here or else where. Not only was I linked here because of another site, but I also decide to finally come and join in because of the waining future purchace I have. And an Intrepid R/T and Sebring have always been among my list along with many others. And lastly I am here because I am a "car enthusiest" not just a "VW enthusiest" or "LH car enthusiest"

So if I am not welcome here be cause I drive a VW or because I don't drive an LH body car or lack there of, or because of prvious pitfalls then so be it it's the internet and it should be taken with a grain of salt. Ban my login name, ban my IP its all the same.
