I am quite sure that you were referring to me as well as others who have insane ppd's. If I were a member since the beginning when this site started and some clown joined a couple months later and he or she had 10 times the ppd and posts... would I care? No... I wouldn't. Yes, someone did make a valid point to me and I kinda felt bad... so I donated some dough to help cover SOME of the bandwith that I have used. I don't give a s**t what anyone thinks of me. I am not a speed poster, am I a post "whore"? Some say yes, and others could care less. The purpose of the long thread IS NOT TO UP THE PPD's (contrary to what some people think); if you look on the very first post you'll see the question: "Can we beat this?" It says nothing about:"Can we rack up our ppd?" Since I cannot get into chat (and no I'm not banned) I use the "Hijack this thread" as my chat. Believe it or not: Some of our VERY NEWEST members ask me if I am a moderator. I laugh and reply "no". I honestly feel that I am not senior enough to be a moderator..... Hell there are mods that don't even have 1,000 posts... And yes ppd's is nothing but a number. Do I feel special? No. Do I feel cool? No... I feel that if we aren't bothering anybody, then why bother us? And oh no, ALL of my posts aren't worthless... I have posted in the 2nd gen forums alot. I don't know my Intrepid inside and out, so sometimes my ?'s are idiotic... but oh well. thats how you learn....
