Kind of stupid question, but I'm confused here. I've always known block heaters to heat the oil in the pan so it's easier flowing on cold mornings. I recently read a artical in our local paper that explaines them as heating the coolant instead (the heater takes the place of one of the "Frost Plugs" in the block)
Which one is in a trep??? I was planing to get a coolant heater that gets spliced into the bottom coolant hose, heating the coolant & the stock one heats the oil.... If I already have a coolant heater, how do I put in a oil one?
